APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Consider approval of the Minutes of the June 1, 2021, City Council meeting.
The items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be self-explanatory by the Council and will be enacted in one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless requested by a Council Member. 1. Consider approval for the Police Department to seek a Community Oriented Policing Services Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice. 2. Consider approval of a final plat for First Presbyterian Church, located at 12433 F.M. 1641. 3. Consider approval of a final plat for the Seefried Addition, located west of Helms Trail and north of Plantation Ridge. 4. Consider approval of a revised site plan for the FISD Aquatic Center, located north of F.M. 740 and west of Ranch Road.
Discuss and consider authorization of change orders for the Community Development – Public Works remodel project.
Discuss and consider a Resolution consenting to an Assignment of Development Agreement between W/J OG JV Owner, LLC and Century Land Holding of Texas, LLC for the Overland Grove residential development.
Discuss and consider an Ordinance amending Chapter 1, “General Provisions,” of the City of Forney Code of Ordinances by amending Article 1.12, “Code of Ethics,” by updating the standards of conduct and other various section, and amending the Rules of Procedure for the City Council and the Boards, Commissions and Committees of the City of Forney, Texas, adopted pursuant to Section 3.10 of the City of Forney Home Rule Charter.
Discuss and consider board and commission appointments: Animal Adoption Center/Shelter Advisory Committee; Board of Adjustment; Building Standards Commission Board; Economic Development Corporation; Historic Overlay District Architectural Review Board; North Texas Municipal Water District Board; Park and Recreation Board; Planning and Zoning Commission, TIF Board and the Bond Committee.

In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Section 551.042, the City Council cannot discuss, consider, or take action on matters not listed on the agenda.
