Public Hearing Items

1.

Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval to rezone 4.842 acres of property from Commercial District and General Retail District to Commercial District. The property is located at 503 E. U.S. Highway 80.

2.

Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval of a conditional use permit for a hotel to operate with a structure height taller than thirty-six feet (36’) at 503 E. U.S. Highway 80.

3.

Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval rezone 0.842 acres of property from Planned Development Overlay District with a base zoning district designated as SF-11 to a Planned Development Overlay District with a base zoning district designated as Neighborhood Service District. The property is located northwest of the Monitor Boulevard and F.M. 741 intersection.

4.

Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval to rezone 3.09 acres of property from Agricultural District to Neighborhood Service District. The property is located east of Lakewood Trail and north of F.M. 741.

Hold a public hearing and discuss and consider approval of an amendment to the City of Forney Thoroughfare Plan and Map.

1.

Discuss and consider approval of a final plat for Gateway Parks Phase 5A.

2.

Discuss and consider approval of a final plat for Gateway Parks Phase 5B.

3.

Discuss and consider approval of a preliminary plat for Lovett Forney Addition, located at the southeast corner of North F.M. 548 and Ridgecrest Road.

4.

Discuss and consider approval of a site plan for City Plaza Phase II, located northeast of the intersection of Regal Drive and the Highway 80 frontage road.

5.

Discuss and consider approval of a site plan for Heartland Dental, located west of the South F.M. 548 and F.M. 1641 intersection.

VI.

Hold executive session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code

Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.076 and 551.087.  Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular Meeting or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney’s Office as to the posted subject matter of this meeting.
